Sakura Gardens is more than just a takeout spot—they have plenty of booths for dining in, and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and nicely air-conditioned. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant experience. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The salmon, tuna, and scallop nigiri were fresh, tasty, and definitely one-bite pieces. The unagi was excellent. The inari had a pleasant sweetness, but the rice wasn’t packed tightly enough into the tofu pocket, leaving one end loose and affecting the texture. The futomaki was disappointing. It was missing the tobiko listed on the menu, and overall it lacked flavor, so I probably wouldn’t order it again. We also had the seafood tempura, which included shrimp, lobster, scallops, and vegetables. The seafood was lightly battered, crispy, and very enjoyable. The vegetables, however, had a thicker coating that lacked the light, airy crispness you expect from tempura. My daughter ordered the pork katsu curry. The pork was nicely fried and generously portioned, and she preferred the lighter Japanese curry sauce accompanying the dish on the side. Both entrées came with miso soup and salad, which was a nice touch since ma

They are super friendly with kids and in general. The food is solidly above average. It's kind of a favorite spot for birthdays, but we go around once a week for a regular meal. The menu is big and we usually get sushi, but most items have been safe when we tried other things. It's not a fancy place, but it's really good overall.

Easily some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fish was unbelievably fresh and we ended up ordering extra rolls because we couldn’t get over how high quality the fish was. The wait staff were very warm and the food came out so quickly, even when the restaurant was busy. Will most definitely be a regular here.

My friends and I came to Sakura Garden and had a really great experience. The vibe was really nice and relaxed, perfect for just hanging out and catching up. Everyone working there was super kind and welcoming, which made it even better. The food was amazing, everything tasted really fresh and full of flavor, especially the sushi🍣. You can tell they actually care about what they’re making and that they are using high-quality ingredients. Overall, it was such an enjoyable meal with great food, great people. We 100% definitely recommend and would come back again!! 😋❤️🍱

I stumbled upon this place back in January 2020, and let me just say—it was hands down the best food discovery I’ve ever made. Coming from the Five Boroughs, I’m used to having a wide variety of sushi options—not just California rolls and spicy tuna. So on that snowy day, I ducked into this sushi spot just to grab a beer and maybe a basic roll. I wasn’t expecting much. But to my surprise, what I found was a gem: a wide range of options, incredibly fresh fish, and a sushi bar that looked like something out of a dream—four chefs working in sync behind a glass case and a corner board listing daily specials like Toro (fatty tuna) and Uni (sea urchin). That was my sign from above. Of course, I had to try the toro. And unlike many places that serve stringy, pieced-together cuts, this was the real deal—a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth piece of fatty tuna that tasted like a tender steak. Uni was like a bite ice cream from the sea. I was hooked. I washed it down with an Ichigo beer, which you don’t come across often, and just like that, a lifelong restaurant relationship was born. Since then, I’ve probably been to Sakura Garden over 100 times—no exaggeration. Family dinners, date nights wit
